The Mexican Gilberto Esparza created the "nomadic plants, small robots that have plants in and that work symbiotically with them.

Through the processing of a biological fuel cell, the elements contained in the water are decomposed and transformed into electrical energy that can power the circuitry of the robot.

The excess is used by plants, allowing complete their own life cycle. The project is conducted at the Center for Art and Industrial Creation in Gijon in Spain, as a way to draw attention to the role of machines in big cities. Source
